Since receiving the letter from Seun Academy, she had tried countless times to move objects around her room, meeting every time with failure. If the letter was true and the school actually existed, they must have been mistaken: she could no more do extraordinary things than she could spread her arms and fly through the air. She smiled ironically; perhaps flight was one of the courses taught and the school she was destined never to attend. She was normal, and she would always be normal. Is anyone else tired of hearing about Michael Jackson?

Seriously.

People die.

It happens.

No amount of gossip and news coverage can bring a dead person back to life.

And lets not forget Farrah Fawcett. She died on the same day from cancer. How much has anyone heard about her? Little, if any.

The key difference between these two celebrities: Michael's life was tragic, Farrah's was heroic. And let's face it. Americans love tragedy.

And now, questions.

How many people liked him before he died?

And after?

And how many people who didn't like him before now claim that they've always been fans?

Exactly.

I didn't like him before and I don't like him now.

On another, completely unrelated note: hyenas are sexy. Especially one from the zoo in Boise. Just as :iconbeastly-little-irhus:
